WHY WE EXIST

The Miami Police Foundation closes that gap. We unite Miami's civic and philanthropic leaders behind one shared commitment: giving our officers what they need to serve, and our communities the partnership they deserve.

Public safety in Miami doesn't happen by accident. It is the work of the City of Miami Police Department — the officers, dispatchers, analysts, and civilian staff who answer the call every hour of every day. But the cost of doing that work at the highest standard rises faster than any municipal budget can keep up. Cutting-edge training, advanced technology, officer wellness, youth programming — these are the investments that separate good policing from great policing, and they often fall outside what public funding can cover.
